THE TYPES AND STATUS OF CORE INSULATION MATERIALS OF INSULATED SANDWICH PANELS
The thermal insulation, heat insulation and sound absorption properties of insulated sandwich panel mainly depend on its core material-insulation material. This material not only needs good temperature, but also needs sufficient strength and stiffness, and has good adhesion with color steel plate. Only in this way, the composite panel can withstand the design load and meet the building function.
The core material of insulated sandwich panels can be divided into two categories according to their chemical composition, that is, organic chemical foam materials, such as polyurethane foam, polystyrene foam, phenolic foam, triamine foam, etc. The other is inorganic fiber materials, such as rock wool board, mineral wool board, glass wool board, etc.
At present, polystyrene sandwich panel (EPS), rigid polyurethane sandwich (PU) board and rock wool sandwich board are the most widely used insulating layer cores for insulated sandwich panel manufacturers in China. However, organic materials such as polyurethane and polystyrene have low heat resistance temperature, are easy to burn in fire and produce toxic gases, which are the main accidents in fire houses. One of the factors, In recent years, people have paid more attention to building fire prevention. Because of the poor fire-proof thermal insulation materials used in some buildings, fire incidents also emerge in endlessly. For example, on February 9, 2009, a huge fire accident occurred in the cultural center of CCTV New Station Park, which was caused by the use of flammable materials and unqualified thermal insulation boards in construction projects. Fires cause huge losses, therefore, the national government pay high attention on this.
